Standard Container

Standard containers are the most common type of container available. Although aluminum can also be used, steel is the most typical material used in its construction. Aluminum containers have a somewhat larger cargo capacity. Since most containers are waterproof and airtight, external damage is prevented. On one end of the container, doors are used to store the items. Although the sizes of 20- and 40-foot containers are fixed, different operators may have different container volumes.

Reefer Container

Reefer containers are essentially refrigerators—the size of containers that are used to carry goods that need to be maintained at a particular temperature. Cold air can enter the container because of the T-shaped decking on the flooring. This guarantees that the goods receive consistent airflow. The temperature range that they can tolerate is -30°C to +30°C.
